Translating the Cancer Genome
Welcome.
Research in the Conn lab is focused on understanding how mRNA translation is distinctly orchestrated for dynamic responses driving oncogenesis, response to nutrients, effects for drug resistance, cell differentiation, and metastasis. We use a combination of cellular & molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and translational research techniques to investigate mRNA regulation in disease.
We are a new group, hoping to grow as an interdisciplinary team of biologists, chemists, and clinicians.
